In October 2009, Oscar surprised me with a trip to the Kent animal shelter to get another kitten! We already knew its name would be Nibbler (named after the above pictured Futurama character), and we picked this particular animal shelter since they had a large amount of kittens. Interestingly enough, the kitten we picked ended up being the first one we saw. He was just soooo cute, he looked a lot like our cat Leela, and he was very sweet when we held him. Here's how he looked in the little carrier box they give you to take home.

I LOVE this shot of him inside the box

We tried giving him kitten food, but he was much more interested in the adult food. Our adult cats, however, loved his kitten food.

Here's an adorable shot of him curled up in the sink

It took awhile for the other cats to warm up to Nibbler. They didn't seem to bother him much, but both Fry and Leela (especially Fry) were not happy about this new animal invading their territory. Fry got really grumpy and would even snap at Leela if she got too close. But after about a week they began accepting him and cuddling with him.

Fortunately for us, he's a very affectionate little guy.

He loves to be up high, and when he would often sit on our shoulders just like a little parrot.

He loves to sit in front of our TV/Computer and paw at the mouse.

Both he and Leela love being on the bed.

He puts up with a bath much better than either Fry or Leela. He didn't enjoy it, but he didn't freak out either.

We discovered very quickly that he is EXTREMELY playful.

I miss when he was this small. He's still cute, but here he's irresistable.

He's just so cute here on the blanket

He looks adorable on the perch

Both he and Leela like to curl up on the warm DVR. I snapped this adorable shot of them.

I tried getting the 3 of them to all cuddle together, but it didn't happen for the first 2 and 1/2 months. This was the closest I got.
